Import the roster
Upload your team list from a spreadsheet or enter names manually. Each athlete gets added to the campaign roster in one step.
For coaches
Import your roster, send invite links, and let each athlete own their own fundraising page. You track participation. The platform handles payments, receipts, and reporting.
What coaches do in HometownLift
The coach role is designed to be narrow on purpose. You manage the roster and the energy. Everything else belongs to the director or the platform.
Upload your team list from a spreadsheet or enter names manually. Each athlete gets added to the campaign roster in one step.
Every athlete receives an email with a link to claim their personal fundraising page. No accounts for coaches to manage.
See which athletes have claimed their pages, who is sharing, and where donations are coming in from the coach dashboard.
Share leaderboard updates, nudge athletes who have not claimed their page, and celebrate milestones as the campaign progresses.
What coaches do not have to manage
Set up the Stripe payment connection
Manage platform fee settings or payout schedules
Handle refund requests or donation disputes
Reconcile donation spreadsheets or generate tax reports
Explain the fee structure to every parent individually
Directors own the organization setup, Stripe connection, and campaign approvals. See the director workflow for details.
Athlete pages
Personal athlete pages give families a specific link to text, post, and print on flyers. Donors see the athlete's name, photo, and goal instead of a generic team page.
Each athlete gets a unique URL and QR code that routes donors straight to their page.
Athletes and parents can see how close they are to their personal goal in real time.
Supporters click the link, pick an amount, and give through Stripe checkout. No account needed.
Coaches see which athletes are active, who has shared, and where the team stands overall.
Pledge fundraisers
Coaches track results after the event. The platform calculates totals and sends payment links to pledgers automatically.
Supporters pledge a per-unit amount before the event. Flat pledges with optional caps are also supported.
After results are entered, the platform emails each pledger a payment link with their calculated total.
