Account and data deletion

You can ask HometownLift to close your sign-in account and delete or de-identify the personal data associated with it. You do not need the HometownLift POS app installed to make a request.

Submit a request

Email the request from the address associated with your account. Include your full name, account email, organization name, and whether you want the entire account deleted or only particular data.

Email a deletion request

If you cannot email from the account address, explain that in the request. We will ask for enough information to verify that you control the account before making irreversible changes.

What is deleted or de-identified

After identity and authority are verified, HometownLift will close the user's sign-in access and delete or de-identify personal profile information, notification tokens, and user-created content that is not required for a legitimate retention purpose. Where removing a Roundtable message would break a conversation or safety record, the message may instead be de-identified.

Information that may be retained

Some records may need to be retained for payment reconciliation, tax and accounting, fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution, organization recordkeeping, or other legal obligations. Retained records are limited to those purposes and no longer provide sign-in access. We will explain any retained categories when responding to the request.

Requests are handled within the timeframe required by applicable law. For more information, review the Privacy Policy or contact support@hometownlift.com.
