Text message (SMS) opt-in
HometownLift (a service of Gold Country Luminary Holdings LLC) sends a single transactional text message letting a customer know their paid food, concession, or merchandise order is ready for pickup. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. This page describes how consent is collected and how to opt out.
How consent is collected
Consent is collected directly from the customer at online checkout on hometownlift.com. The customer optionally enters their own mobile number in a field labeled “Phone (optional — for order-ready text)”. Providing a number is optional and never required to complete a purchase, and consent is never obtained from third parties. The field is shown with this disclosure:

What we send
One order-ready notification per paid order, sent only when staff mark that specific order ready for pickup. Example: “Hi Jane, your order is ready for pickup! Pickup code: 4827”. Message frequency is about one message per order. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to cancel; you will receive a single confirmation and no further texts unless you re-subscribe by replying START. Reply HELP to any message, or email support@hometownlift.com, for assistance.
